Blueberry

Blueberries are rich in nutrients and anitoxidants and currently considered a 'superfruit'.

Native to North America they are now also grown in Australia, New Zealand and South America. Blueberries require a very acid soil, which is well drained but moisture retentive.

Blueberries are quite tart in flavour and are generally best used in purees, jellies, jams, pies, muffins and cereals.
